Soliris in PNH
Alexion collaborated with the world's leading experts in paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria
(PNH) to conduct one of the most extensive clinical research programs ever undertaken
for a drug to treat an ultra-orphan disease. These studies provided the medical community with a more
complete understanding of PNH and established the efficacy and safety of Soliris® (eculizumab) for the treatment of PNH. Ongoing research
is providing new insight into PNH and its treatment.
